Always had a soft spot for Internationals. It bit optimistic on the price to my mind but, possibly the lowest mileage one out there.

I looked at a couple of Travelalls, but backed away after talking to
a lot of people about them.Fuel milage, parts sourced from different manu-
facturers,etc.
I also looked at a 4 door pickup, based on the Travelall - way ahead
of it's time.

Once again, you guys are far too literal - I don't care about gas mileage reliability, serviceability, rust resistance, shoot I can't afford it at a tenth the price - but it sure would be a hoot to drive on a nice summer's eve.

A wee bit optimistic on that price, IHC trucks aren't high dollar collectibles... But I've always had a soft spot for the orphan makes and the unusual...

my dad had a Scout when I was little. I remember sitting on his lap and steering it down back-roads to my grandfathers house.
It rotted out like all of them did around here. There are a very select few left, and I suspect most of them have a fiberglass replacement body. They make 'em just like the ones for Jeeps.
I've always liked "Corn-binders"

Steve is right I've owned several in fact my daily driver is a 61 C112. My grandfather was the shop foreman for the Lawton dealership, and my father was a mechanic there since he was a teen, so I kinda grew up with them. None of the ones I've owned have ever had any problems in fact the one I drive everywhere has over 300,000 original miles and runs like a top. I'm rebuilding my 52 after carbon build up caused the top compression ring to break on number 5, and now I've gone way overboard deciding to fully restore it. Anyway I won't moon over binders any longer, but I don't think you could get anyone to pay 20 grand for one of the later ugly ones like that one, no matter how clean and low mileage it is.
