Removing AH Sprite Mk 1 windscreen washer pump

Does anyone know how to remove the original Mark 1 windscreen washer pump? The knob screws on and while I can see a hex nut on the inside of the dash, that does not appear to be what holds it in place. The pump mechanism seems to be made out of a plastic, like nylon and is tubular with three small brass ports on the end.

A Mark 1 what?

I thought the original washer pumps had aluminum bodies. Is there no two-slot bezel on the front side? A photo or two would be helpful.

Sorry. Austin Healey Sprite Mark 1. I have already removed, repaired, and reinstalled the pump. Attached is what I was dealing with. I have tested it and it works fine now.
