• Notice: If you're posting to get ride of the little man (we call him Lucas) please post something meaningful. Tell us about yourself and your interest in British cars and/or why you joined BCF. We don't "require" you share anything too personal - just help us get to know about you and your love of little British cars. Also, this New Member's Forum is only to introduce yourself. If you have specific questions about your little British car, please post those in the appropriate marque-related forum.

One last thing - please start a new topic if you're new here rather than replying to a thread another new member has started.

    Thanks and welcome to BCF!

I am Joe Morgan (AggieTR6), have owned a TR4 back in the day and just recently purchased a 1973 TR6 which I am slowly restoring. I am re-retired having retired from the Air Force after 22 years of service followed by retiring from Texas A&M with 30 years on faculty. I look forward to being a member of this forum and learning lots!!!

Any members living in or around College Station, TX ?

Thanks

Welcome, Joe - and Gig 'em, Aggies! (As long as you're not playing LSU... 😜)

Lots of advice and camaraderie over on the TR side here, so jump in. And post pictures!

Hey Joe, I'm a little ways down the winding trail in Temple. (Pity there still isn't a direct route from here to there.)

Just looking around on Facebook it looks like you've got quite a decent car scene over there. A couple of different Cars & Coffee to choose from and even a sports car club right there at the college. Enough to make us Bell County gearheads jealous!

Yes, now that I have the new carpet in and a few other tweaks like customized center console, I will need to look for some C&Cs to tag up with here in CS. Let me know if you ever get to Aggieland.
